EL PASO, Texas – The Sun Bowl Association invites fans and media to the 19th Annual Hyundai Sun Bowl Fan Fiesta on Dec. 25, 2015, 4 p.m. (MT) at the Judson F. William Convention Center.

Admission is free to the event with charges only placed on food and beverage items. A $5 wristband can also be purchased for access to 18 inflatable/interactive games for adults and children.

The Fan Fiesta is an annual Sun Bowl event that serves as an entertainment platform for local and out-of-town fans who plan on attending the Hyundai Sun Bowl.

“The Fan Fiesta is an essential part of the Hyundai Sun Bowl experience,” Sun Bowl Association Executive Director Bernie Olivas said. “It’s great to see local supporters and fans from both of the participating schools come together and have a good time. This is an exciting event that leads-up to the Hyundai Sun Bowl.”

This year’s Fan Fiesta will include fan-favorite events like the legendary battle of the University Bands, University pep rallies and a spectacular fireworks show to conclude the event. The University of Miami and Washington State University bands will be this year’s battle of the bands participants.

El Paso’s own Fungi Mungle band will also provide entertainment with a two-set performance. Included in the festivities will be the 2015 Sun Court, Mariachis and a Hyundai Sun Bowl Selfie Booth.
