SUN BOWL ART EXHIBIT AT THE EL PASO INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM OF ART - Accepting Entries August 24, 2023

EL PASO, Texas – The Sun Bowl Association and the International Museum of Art are now accepting entries for the 74th Annual Sun Bowl Art Exhibit, which runs from Nov. 9, 2023 – Jan. 19, 2024.

Entries can be submitted starting on Monday, Aug. 28, 2023 and will be open for submissions until Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023. International Museum of Art members at the Artist tier and above can get a discounted entry fee of $40, as opposed to the $60 entry cost.

“Year in and year out we receive some unbelievable and amazing art,” said Sun Bowl Executive Director Bernie Olivas. “We hope to continue to get more entries and see this event grow even more!”

Winners from the art that is submitted will be presented awards at the opening of the Sun Bowl Art Exhibit on Thursday, Nov. 9 at the International Museum of Art.

The Sun Bowl is the Southwest’s longest running art exhibit. Originally dubbed the Sun Carnival Art Exhibit at its inception in 1949, the International Museum of Art continues the long El Paso tradition of the integration of artistic and athletic excellence.

The International Museum of Art is located at 1211 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas and is open to the public.
