Jaqueline Sandoval is the daughter of Esteban Sandoval. An El Paso native and rising senior pursing a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Secondary Education at the University of Texas at El Paso. Jaqueline is a member of the Future Educators in Math and Science organization where she has judged virtual science fairs for the Socorro district. For the past 5 years, Jaqueline has also been an instant challenge judge for the Destination Imagination SaYes Region. Outside her academic duties, she also works for her family’s small business, Roger’s Heating and Air Conditioning as a secretary. In 2020 Jaqueline was the recipient of the LULAC Scholarship and the Ysleta Education Foundation Scholarship. “I want to be a Sun Princess to represent the city I love and show young women the importance of service to one’s city.”
