Jazmin Jayme

Jazmin Jayme is the daughter of Arturo and Diana Jayme and is currently a rising junior at the university of Texas at El Paso, with a major in finance, and a concentration in risk management. Since graduating from Franklin High School, Jazmin quickly secured her spot on the dean’s list at UTEP, and the University honors program. Jazmin has been awarded the College of Business Scholarship, and the UTEP scholarship based on merit.

Jazmin is also membership vice president of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority, as well as the current Professional Development Chairperson for the Gamma Iota Sigma Fraternity of Finance. Jazmin is also an undergraduate assistant for the finance and economics section at UTEP, as well as a member of the Prudential Risk Management Academy.

Jazmin has participated in several fundraisers for notable organizations such as Autism Speaks and the Women in Business Association, where she aided in donating to the Candle Lighters Foundation. She has also volunteered for the Greek Day of service by planting trees on campus.

Jazmin has aspired to become a Sun Princess since she was little and has always admired their involvement in the community and values toward education. Jazmin says it is an honor to represent her native city of El Paso as a Sun Princess.
